Chairman of the board

Hadar Cars is Investment Director at Fairpoint Capital and has a broad experience of investing in technology ventures within software, telecom and deep tech.

He holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology and an MBA from INSEAD.

Johan Ekman

Director

Johan Ekman is the CEO of Kiselkarbid i Stockholm AB as well as Representative Director and CEO of its holding company, EL-Seed Corporation, and has decades of experience in the investment management business. He holds Master of Science degrees in Engineering Physics from Chalmers University of Technology and Electrical Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Engineering as well as an MBA from IBO.

Christian Ehrenborg is Senior Investment Manager at Ingka Investment B.V. part of the Ingka Group, a strategic partner in the IKEA franchise system. Christian represents Ingka GreenTech AB in the board. He has +20 years of experience of tech investments in venture backed companies.

Per Anell

Director

Per is a Senior Investment Director at Industrifonden who started his carrier as an IP consultant before moving on to work with startups in various managerial and VP roles within several technical fields such as robotics, fiber optics and x-ray.

After years of operative experience he decided to change track and started at Innovationsbron and Almi Invest to support the Swedish startup ecosystem and gained his first experiences within venture capital. In 2014 he joined Industrifonden.

Per holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Lund University.

Bo Hammarlund

With early experience in various international startups such as Bell Labs spin-out Multiplex Inc, Epitaxx Inc and WaveSplitter Technologies Inc etc and years of experience as head of S&M at Lucent Microelectronics Group in the Nordics, Bo co-founded his first startup, TranSiC, in 2005, (SiC BJT), acquired by Fairchild Semiconductors in 2011, followed by several other startups, among which Bo co-founded Ascatron (SiC epi and processing), acquired by Coherent in 2020, and Epiluvac (CVD reactors for e.g. SiC, GaN and Graphene), acquired by Veeco in 2023, to name a few.
Bo holds an M.Sc. in Applied Physics from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm.

The Electrum laboratory provides a 1300m2 cleanroom facility and a further 1500m2 of laboratories with strict surveillance, facility access regulations, personnel safety procedures, solid storage security and 24/7 maintenance and technical support.

Supplies crucial for the company’s production operations are secured through agreements giving us user access to the Swedish Royal Institute of Technology’s infrastructure.

All of our laboratory facilities and offices are located in the same building, ensuring flawless interorganizational response time and eliminating transport risks between processes carried out by the company.

The proximity to Sweden’s major international airport serves to improve delivery and response time further.
