About KISAB

Kiselkarbid i Stockholm AB (“KISAB”) is a developer and producer of silicon carbide (SiC) crystal pucks and wafers based on a proprietary and patented growth technology. Its products, SiC 8-inch pucks and wafers, are being sampled with global leading device makers.

The company is headquartered in Kista, Sweden (the tech hub north of Stockholm), and operates its production and laboratory facilities at the Electrum Laboratory.

KISAB‘s products are designed for use in high-power semiconductor devices, with key applications in AI data centers, electric vehicles, renewable energy, grid and industrial power electronics.

The company is supported by a highly experienced team with deep expertise in SiC materials science and semiconductor manufacturing.

Giorgio Anania

Chairman of the board

Giorgio Anania is a seasoned entrepreneur and corporate leader with extensive experience scaling deep tech and semiconductor ventures. He led Bookham Technology through successful IPOs on NASDAQ and the LSE, overseeing multiple company exits. He holds degrees in physics from Oxford and Princeton.

Johan Ekman

Director

Johan Ekman is the CEO of Kiselkarbid i Stockholm AB and EL-Seed Corporation, bringing decades of investment management experience. He holds Master of Science degrees in engineering from Chalmers University of Technology and the Swiss Federal Institute of Engineering, alongside an MBA from IBO.

Christian Ehrenborg is Senior Investment Manager at Ingka Investment B.V. part of the Ingka Group, a strategic partner in the IKEA franchise system. Christian represents Ingka GreenTech AB in the board. He has +20 years of experience of tech investments in venture backed companies.

The Electrum laboratory provides a 1300m² cleanroom facility and a further 1500m² of laboratories with strict surveillance, facility access regulations, personnel safety procedures, solid storage security and 24/7 maintenance and technical support.
